Your Tasks

  • Ensure the design of mould 2D & 3D drawing m eet customer requirements, applicable standard and both statutory and regulatory
  • Follow up new mold sample / FOT (First Of Trial) & ISI (Initial Sample Inspection)
  • Follow up and plan mold improvement and modification (ECR / Engineering Change Request)
  • Follow up DFM (Design for Manufacture) mold modification
  • Raise up Design concepts/New drawings/SPECs/ECRS of their projects related
  • Project related communications with PMs / Sourcing /QAs / PIE / PMC / customers and suppliers
  • Control new mold design budget/cost, quality and schedule

Your Profile

  • Above 5 years working experience on molding, especially structure design mold
  • Have a good knowledge about the new product and mold development process
  • Diploma or Degree in Tool Good knowledge with material characteristic Plastic eg. PP (Polypropylene), Glass fiber, ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene), and etc. Die Casting material (ADC12) maker Engineer
  • Experience technical drawing (Creo Parametric, SolidWorks, master CAM and 3D Simulation mold and product)
  • Ability to perform under high pressure and good ability/logic to assess problems
  • Experience from Microsoft project/SharePoint, PLM (Windchill), SAP are an advantage
  • Great problem solving and communication skills, ability to work with vendors, customers, and employees
