Groundbreaking Extension Production Capacity in Macedonia
On 20th of July 2022 WIK Prilep celebrated its Groundbreaking for its plant to be more than doubled.
Those big decisions need intensive preparations including various stakeholders with a strong belief in Macedonia project such as the Global leadership team, central and local institutions such as the German ambassy, Directorate of Technological Industrial Development Zones, Central and Local government authorities and certainly great local team ready to step up and support the Group strategy.
During the event representatives of previous mentioned organizations gave speech. Plant representatives gave details on investment plan to increase the capacity of 8.100m2 to 16.300m2.
Plant extension support direct increase in portfolio by paving the road to release equipment investment and create new jobs for the community.
Vertical integration process with a. introduction of high technology heating elements production and b. modern packaging supporting circular economy and Cradle to Cradle (C2C) manufacturing, creating competitiveness boost and brings know how to the economic environment.
Design and Development laboratory center places WIK Group and North Macedonia to extremely good position of engineering world map. It will open the floor for academic students and young engineer where they can practice and develop the skills mentored by experienced engineers and find their work place at home.
